Post waiting on sbr stamp?
I sent in my Form 1 and the cashiers check to ATF November 12, 08 to SBR my pk and they still haven't cashed the check. Should I be worried or just have a some patience?

If it has been that long I would think that it has either been lost or they never got it. You could try calling them but it looks like a stop payment on the check and resubmission would be in order since the date is more than a year ago (November 12, 08).

My mistake, November 09, just a couple of months ago.

In that case I would keep an eye out for it to be cashed until the end of the month and then maybe try giving them a call. With the holidays and all they could be running further behind than usual.

You can call but they wont be able to tell you anything. There is no way to know where your check is sitting or if it even got there.
You should always send your application return receipt. That way you at least know for sure they have it. somewhere

Ok I went with the trust, completed all the appropriate forms, put in my $200 check and sent it today. The countdown now begins for my .22lr suppressor! All that rushing around to wait another 90+ days but it will be worth it in the end. :D

Is the ATF doing business different, hard up for money or become really efficient? I sent my forms for my suppressor tax stamp with tracking. It got to their P.O. box on Saturday 5/15 and the $200 check I sent was cashed last night 5/18. From the many people I have talked to in the Class III community they say you usually get your stamp within 2-4 weeks of your check being cashed. That would be great but I won't get my hopes up.

Not even close. The fastest one I had was 5 weeks and that is when they were running fast right after they moved to VA. Times seem to be running 60-90 days right now. I had a check cash on 4-13-10 and was just assigned to an examiner. I will be happy to see it in the next 30 days.

I have set a date in my head of 90 days out so if it happens to come in earlier then I will be pleasantly surprised. I went with a trust what route did you take?
