Re: The gsg ak has arrived
I am on the fence with this one. I have had many AK's over the years and the price is still resonable for one at around $650.00 for some variants. While ammo is not as cheap as .22 it is not crazy priced. I am some what torn on this one because of those reason. Maybe???????? I think ATI would be better suited sticking with "clones" of guns that are out of reach for most folks. Heck I would have jumped at a AR15/M16 .22 clone way before an AK. The AR are going for a minium of 1k in most all shops now and ammo is crazy priced. Give us some "exotic" .22 clones and people will buy. Can someone say a .22 semi clone of a SAW???

Re: The gsg ak has arrived
The AR clone would have sold very well in todays market, people with AR are spending $500 just on conversion kits or .22 uppers, so why not just get the whole gun, and with ammo prices people are utilizing .22 much more. I am waiting on the Sig 522.

Re: The gsg ak has arrived
The guns look pretty good, but I just spent a bundle on another rifle so this one is not in the near future. Now a GSG MG-42.....that would be sweet!

Re: The gsg ak has arrived
I agree on the AR idea. I keep seeing the SIG522 in magazines, and talk of prices around $500. If it ever surfaces, I'll grab one. I'd love to see a .22 clone of the tan FN SCAR. Now that would be my idea of a great .22 clone.

Re: The gsg ak has arrived
I wonder if all the accessories for the real AK types will fit this, or do we have to wait on extras.

Re: The gsg ak has arrived
I have a WASR/Romanian AK-47 so there's no need for me to duplicate it in a lower caliber.

Re: The gsg ak has arrived
I've seen them and tried it here in France, there are ugly, there is no-way I'm buying one. plus in France, having one of them or a real AK (wich I already own) is the same paperork. why didn't they make an AKSU instead ?

Re: The gsg ak has arrived
My local dealer got one of these in today. I looked at it and was unimpressed, it felt flimsy in comparison to my GSG5. I think this one is going to be a flop.

Re: The gsg ak has arrived
The grip felt very cheap like it was going to break off after a couple of rounds.
