Post Recommendations for a 2x red dot/green dot
I've been looking around for a decent, but not too expensive (sub $150) 2x scope for my GSG. I've checked out the TruGlo scope (2x 30) but the optics show major distortion except for right in the center of the scope, and the dot appeared to 'star'.

Anybody got some suggestions? I realize I'm not going to get Trijicon or Aimpoint quality for <$150 but I also don't want to spend $90 on a toy (TruGlo).

I plan to mount it on a high rise claw mount (the HK style) with picatinny rail.

Thanks all.

Update - I bought a Barska 2x red dot and so far so good. The optics are fairly sharp, and there doesn't seem to be the distortion around the outer edges like I've seen in other scopes. This one was only $60.

OK, so it's made in China, but the quality is a bit higher than expected. I used the NC Star low profile mount to mount it to the gun.

Check optics planet - they usually have the cheapest prices and they have had free tax and shipping for me on every order.
I'm looking for the same thing for another gun so I figured I'd hop on board!
