Re: Sig 522 official picture thread Got mine just before Christmas, added Bushnell 1x32 Trophy "T" Red dot and rail attachments. Looking around for a vertical grip for the forearm. May add a light, not sure yet. This is a great gun.

Re: Sig 522 official picture thread Just started shooting the gun and really like it! Picked up the front sight adapter, folding battle sights, quadrail and red/green dot micro sight on ebay and gunbroker.

Re: Sig 522 official picture thread Is that for one of the airsoft 556's? I cant see spending $300 for a forend on a $400 gun but I can see spending $130 if the airsoft one will work..

My 14 year old daughter Jessica this was the first time she shoot the 522. ive put about 1000 rds thru it so far I LOVE IT no fail to feeds. no problems so far... im just running a cheap 30mm red dot for now. might throw on my back up aimpoint later. who knows... got a couple of bdm 25 (27?) rounders (theyre a little tight compared to the bdm that camw with the rifle (with sig’s name on it) i sprayed it with tactical coyote brown duracoat. im happy with how it turned out. still waiting on the magpul sling and the tango down foregrip in the mail (freaking usps...) mark at sig emailed me today to let me know that dig now has iron sights for the 522. i can fwd the email to anyone that wants to know about it. just let me know. (jerrod.inskeep@gmail.com) the buis are not on sigs sight yet. they just made gave them an part number this morning. they look decent and are $80 but im still thinking about just getting a dovetail adapter for the front and putting on some magpul fold-downs. after a couple of small alterations (some locktight here and there, tightened up the buttstock, etc) it turned out to probably be my favorite play rifle. im giving it a 9/10 wouldve been 10/10 if sig wasnt trying to nickel and dime folks by making iron sights and front rails “add ons”. those f**kers... pic attached (i hope...)
